Can't stream other profiles than "direct" (1 Viewer)

This is a long shot, but sometimes older or different versions of an app do make a difference. I am posting my version of mencoder.exe that I works with LiveTV and RecordedTV. I got it from the Burner plugin for MP.

Let us know if this works or not.

The direct-profile still works great. The other formats don't work and the following (interesting) Error-Log appears. The Internal Server Error 500 is confusing...

Hi, if you want to stream live tv with other than direct the profile must have in and out both the NamedPipe chosen. And the Mencoder folder correct.
I have this working now nicely.

sry it didn't work, i'm noobie with MP, but only other thing I can say is that I am
1) on the latest BETA (not latest SVN
2) using latest MPWebServices MSI installer from the monster thread (MPWebServices_RC3.rar)
3) Using MOSTLY all default settings
a) on the WebServer tab of theMPWebServices config stream, look at
STREAMING URL, if yours has your COMPUTERNAME, like "Streaming URL: http://COMPUTERNAME:8080, try chaning
it to http://YOURLANIP:8080, for example, if your TvServers shows an ip listed, rather than a computer name, I'm guessing
this might work
b) make sure Client Streaming Type is set to m3u

4) Try using the installer to REPAIR the installation

other than that, I don't know, but will be curious to find out how it's solved

Got mine working

I used the version of MPlayer/Mencoder from their main website - the previous version I got wasn't from there.

I have also changed the WebServices config to just use the one instance of mencoder (in the MPlayer folder)

I still have issues with mencoder trying to interact with the desktop (even with -quiet) and causing the Interactive warning to popup.

I have disabled the main UIODetect service to see if this prevents it prompting

Now the fun begins - I want to be able to stream to my Nokia phones (S60 3rd gen) - obviously VLC plugin wont work, playlists don't seem to work

Anyone tried this?

You could also post your log from the webservices.
Especially streaming is logged there.
It is located in the subfolder "temp" where the .aspx files are

I can't find any log file specific for you pluging??!!

I don't even have a temp folder under htdocs (so I just created one to see if it helps)
