I can't get the TV working. Even though the TV card is ATSC I'm plugged to analog cable only (Canada). Scanning for channels does not give me the analog option, only digital ATSC.

How can I watch scan for and watch analog channels (cable TV in Canada) with this card?

I'd appreciate any inputs ;)

Thanks for info. I've tried the info on from the provided link to no avail.
I've installed InterVideo Win DVR3 (with the Mpeg encoder). The TV works fine in the WinDVR but not in MediaPortal. The encoder shows up, but that's about it.
The card itself is recognzed by MediaPortal, but when I start My TV I get this error: "Failed to start TV. No tuning information for channel"

Any other tips?
Did anybody manage to get this card working with analog TV?

    What is it recognised as?

I assume that MediaPortal recognises the ATSC component of the card, but not the analog component - correct? If it is working correctly, you should see 2 cards listed in Setup - one for ATSC and one for Analog.

Did you go through all the steps in that link, including the link to "Getting your 'Software Encoding' card to be supported!"?

    Hi guys....
I have exactly the same problem with my Hauppauge HVR-900.
The digital is OK, but when adding the analogue card, I get the message "Can't create graph..." I have the intervideo encoder codecs installed, but nohhh......!

I also have a HVR-900, the analog shows in TVE3 but it won't find any channels when I scan.
I have analog cable and it works with the Hauppage program.
