I've got an internal USB Multicardreader in my HTPC case. I thought I'd add the four drives of the cardreader to the my pictures folder in the configuration. I left the default (marked) my picture folder to My Pictures.
If I now enter my pictures in MediaPortal and go one directory level up (the level that contains "My Pictures", the DVD drive and the four dirve letters of the multicardreader). I get the following errror:
cardreadermypicserrorbn3.jpg

I did not try to access a drive with no card in it. The bug simply is there when reading the overall directory structure.

It's clear that I do not always have plugged in 4 flash cards in the four different slots of the multicard reader. So maybe the behavior of MP could be changed to not try to access removable drives automatically.

    Hello!

I do not have an usb multicardreader so I cannot test this, but maybe you can. I tried this with an usb memory and it seems like mediaportal automatically adds removable devices if present and not empty. So you could test to remove all four driver entries from the configuration and insert a flash card to one of the slots and go into mp/my pictures and see if it shows up.

    Thanks johnzered!
MediaPortal automatically added the memory cards I plugged into the cardreader, so no need to define them in the configuration separately.
