Cast Bio's and searching on actors/directors? (1 Viewer)

MediaPortal Version: 1.1
MediaPortal Skin: default
Windows Version: 7

I read somewhere that MediaPortal has the option to sort by actor and view movies related to them. Also guessing that this includes a actor profile. however i can't find neither.

Is this standard in Mediaportal or do i need to install addtional plugins? I am currently using Mediaportal 1.1.0 with the TVseries and Moving Pictures plugins.

If you have correctly configured the video section of MP (MP Config > Videos, make a scan which downloads the video info incl. actors info), you can then view your videos via videos in MP. There you can change the view to actors, and clicking on info (F3 on keyboard or invoking the menu and choosing IMDB/OFDB) you´ll see all the actors biography and films).

thanks, i havent configured MP's library. Just the movie and TV plugins since i only use those. Is this option also available in the plugins?
