Hi

After installing the imdb+ script for better scraping i have a little problem.

My categories is gone, i have modified a load of categories in the Define Movie Categories, and i have marked the chechbox that should show that menu - however, it is a goner.

I have installed the 1.2RC and 1.2.3.1329moving pictures.

Does anyone in here know what i could do?

So just to be sure, MovPic config -> GUI Settings -> "Organize movies by category" is enabled and when you click on "Define Movie Categories" it does not show anything at all? Or are only the default entries showing?

When it is enabled, it just launches "All movies" and not showing the categories. Eventhough i have reinstalled Moving Pictures.

The Rules for the "All Movies" is applied.

Yes, those are the results, but what did the config screen show? Empty? Make a screenshot at the least, and preferably provide debug enabled log files, so we can see what is happening on your computer to cause this. It is something that is only going wrong on your computer, so you can either ship your computer to us, or provide the log files, you pick

I'm seeing indeed empty filters. Can you make a screenshot of the dialog you get when you push the "Define Movie Categories" button?

It should look like the one shown on the wiki.

But if yours is empty it would explain the behaviour.

If it is empty you can then recreate them, however the fact they 'dissapeared' would have me worried that it might happen again. So my suggestion then would be to delete the movingpictures.db3 file and let the plugin start a fresh one and re-import all your movies again. At least then you can also disable all the details scraper and have just IMDb+ scraper active in top position, with perhaps themoviedb placed 2nd for some rare movies that do not have an entry at imdb.com, but do exist at themoviedb.

FlexQ, rename the movingpictures.db3 file (as a backup measure) and start a fresh one. Before you add your own additional categories, verify that everything works and then start adding them one at a time verifying each time it all still works.

Perhaps one of your filters causes the problem, but it is also possible that you experienced some weird database corruption. Either way starting fresh will allow you to find out what happened.

Another idea on the original database.

If you remove/delete all the categories, and close MePo and reopen it, the default ones are recreated.
