Ran into this problem following an otherwise sucessful upgrade from MP 1.34 x64 to MP 1.35 x64 the CEC Remote plugin which I use just to control volume and standby, will no longer put my devices (TV & AVR) to sleep when the HTPC is put in standby. Also when I wake up the HTPC MP closes or crashes (not sure which) as per the example in the attached log but not always. The volume control of the AVR is still working fine. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin but no change.
To be fair I had the same problem with the MP 1.34 install but it returned to life after some changing of settings, which I subsequently put back to normal and everything continued to work.
I am using the x64 version of the CEC Remote but also gave the AnyCPU version listed in the x64 Extension Manager a try with odd results it also does not put the devices to sleep when the HTPC goes into standby but on wake up the devices are put to sleep for a few seconds before then waking them up again and no MP crash.
UPDATE:-
With a recording in progress the devices do go to sleep when the standby button is pressed but of course the HTPC remains running the recording. That would suggest it is an issue with the Win 11 standby settings, the HTPC does seem to go into standby very quick in the fail mode, maybe not allowing MP to action the CEC Remote plugin or close properly but why have they changed?
FIXED:-
The Power Scheduler plugin which I use to schedule EPG updates via the TV Server had turned off Hybrid Sleep (see attached screenshot), furthermore enabling it with the check box did NOT enable it in the Win 11 advanced power settings I had to do that manually then everything works as it should and the devices go to sleep when the HTPC enters standby. What is odd though is that the Hybrid Sleep is turned off when the "Recommended Settings" button is clicked and I assume that gets applied on an upgrade and was the cause of the problem BUT on an MP 1.35x64 install on a different PC it is turned on with the button press.
Anyone know how I can change the default "Recommended Settings" to turn Hybrid Sleep on to avoid this issue for future upgrades?
