So opening the video in SAF installed Graphstudio result in correct graph creation with correct video renderer.

Does SAF somehow ensume graph build in GraphEdit will use EVR on Windows Vista / 7? Since by default it will connect to something else.

And FFDshow DxVA and subtitles? Yes, you are right, but CPU usage is still much lower for DxVA decoding + subtitles then CPU decoding + subtitles.

Big + is thanks to this you can have DxVA + subtitles on all DShow based players.

Yes, CPU will be still probably a bit lower but the compatibility with different encodings (aspecially on Intel / ATI HW) is not as good as with the non-DXVA mode.

SAF only change merrit to correct video renderer, so it is used automatically when graphs is created in Graphstudio. That mean on Vista/Win7 EVR is used as default.

There is no problem to disable/enable FFDshow DxVA decoder - it is only few clicks.
I have ATI 5450 in my HTPC and i am really happy how it is working, but my HTPC is WinXP + GB-PVR based, not MePo.

I collected only 2 h.264 samples that doesnot work correctly with FFDshow DxVA decoder, both hangs durning playback. Must be FFDshow related, becouse they are working fine using MPC-HC DxVA decoder.

I dont have any video samples that causing any coruption durning playback on ATI + my SAF5 - if you have one, i would really have it :)
