The old forum had the exactly same behaviour. Only differences are that the button now has an other name and that the quickreply editor has more options(like attachments)

Yes, but in the old forum you could (after having switched to advanced) both preview your message and watch the thread. I miss this too.

Both my singleseat setups use TV's that immediately switch to multimedia mode with brightness kicking in, took 2 days to realise background colour of forum had really changed until i selected the natural setting
