Change log file path (1 Viewer)

Hi all
I have a HTPC with SSD disc, where I installed MediaPortal.
I redirected the log files on a RamDisk, editing MediaPortalDirs.xml, as indicated in the forum.
I note however that the log of the TV-Server and some files MePo (evr.log, TsReader-XXX.log, BDReader-XXX.log, DVBSubs.log) are still written in the default location.
Is there any way to change the path of all the log files?

You can use 'symbolic links' on NTFS drives to re-direct the log folders to another drive - see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NTFS_symbolic_link and http://geeknizer.com/create-symlink-in-windows/

I did not know you could do symbolic links in windows..

Yes, MS seems not to promote the capability, even though it's been around since Vista....

perfect, everything works!

at the end I just created symlinks from the command line interface (mklink ..), redirecting the log folder of MediaPortal and also that of the TV-server (the only note: I had to stop the service and then restart it to symlink created --> net stop tvservice / net start tvservice)
