when going to the homescreen the standard tab is the music tab. I don't use the music part at all ... I am mainly using the TV section. Is there the possibility to change the order of the tabs? I would like to see TV in the mddle!

Is there any way to change this in all the skins.
Have been looking at the xml files , but cant seem to find it.

    1) you could use the 'Home Plugin' in configuration for that or:

    2) in the home.xml in your skinfolder you find:

    Code:
    <window>
    	<id>0</id>
    	<defaultcontrol>2</defaultcontrol>
    	<allowoverlay>yes</allowoverlay>
    	<autohidetopbar>no</autohidetopbar>

    if i'm not wrong defaultcontrol is what you're searching for. there is id2, and when i remember right the window ID for MyTV is '1'

    so change 2 --> 1 and it should be fine.

    further there was this autostart plugin, i don't know if it's still working, but with it mediaportal could automaticcally start in TV mode. i didn't use it because the powersheduler which requieres beeing in home screen

    Go to the home plugin to the Menu Structure tab. There you can create Custom Menus. Just put my TV in the top position of your menu. That's it.

    you can use autostart. It autostarts TV when you enter MP. When you want powerscheduler to do it's magic you go to the home screen. Where's the problem?

    thanks+regards

    you're right. i didn't think about the fact, that after resuming from hibernation MP wouldn't autostart TV (-;

    ehh ... we are still not synchonized ...

    you can tell autostart also to autostart after resuming. Then it autostarts (mostly :? ).

    That does not affect powerscheduler because powerscheduler also records when MP is in fullscreen ...

    thanks+regards

    just to get synchronized (-;

    The Problem is that i use the powersheduler not only to wake up when a recording starts, but also to send the Pc to sleep when the recording is finished. Mostly, i have many sheduled recordings and i don't want it to be running all day and night because my system really is a 'power-sucker'.... whatever: powersheduler does so only in Homescreen without anything playing or recording. So with TV Auto on from resuming he wouldn't ever fall to sleep again, because he's not in Homescreen-

    Since my HTPC is usually sleeping and almost never really powered off this is the reason why the autostart function is pretty useless to me...

    by the way, i see that my prev. posts really were a bit confusing (-;
