I know this is a double post but I got no help from the codec section.

Does anyone know how to change the default player for videos to VLC within Media Portal? In config, I entered the path for both video and dvd external players but within MP, WMP launches still.

Hey thanks for the reply. I figured that no one was interested. To be honest, I've read the online manual to an extent but I am relatively new to media portal, codecs and custom configurations. when I play .iso or .vob files, windows media player kicks in and doubles the size of the letterbox. VLC lets me change the aspect ratio on the fly but I'd rather just press play and everything works as it should with great picture/sound.
