Changed Video Adaptor, and now CPU running high (1 Viewer)

I've just uninstalled my nvidia 7800 to gone back to my Integrated Intel 4500HD adaptor, and now my my cpu is running high when i play back video.

MP reports that hardware acceleration is (still) in use. I've uninstalled nVidia driver, tools, toggled MP settings, restarted, rebooted to no avail.

In the meantime i'll check bios, reinstall SAF...any other suggestions would be appreciated.

What OS do you have?
Intel 4500HD GPU is not very good on HW acceleration...

thanks, fiddled around with uninstall driver, etc and now CPU for MP back to a nice <5% on full HD PB - i reckon you might be being a bit rough on the little GPU that could, its humming (no pun cos not fan) nicely now, but not flash for games i'll concede.
