changing frequency automatic

not sure if this is the right place in the forum for this post, but give it a try.

In my city they are going to change the frequency of the tv channels, and they are going tio change it when i am on holiday. So my scheduled recordings will be black recordings after the channelchange.

The new frequency is already known, is it possible to schedule a job to replace my existing frequencies with the new frequencies? And how can I do that?

MP itself has no solution for that. But you might try to update the TV Database (stop MP, update TV DB & start MP) using a batch job, but this is quite some programming.

You might also duplicate all of your TV Channels with the new frequencies, give them a slightly different name & schedule the recordings from them while you are on holiday. When you get back you would have to "clean up" a little.

Good idea to duplicate my channels (why didn't I think about this myself??). I will do this tonight.
