Hey guys,
Just got mp up and running on my XP pro machine with a twinhan ter d+a most things are running great, just a few teething problems...
First recordings wont play for some reason, I can find them in the folder but they wont play in iether MP or any media software I have installed including VLC which usually plays everything I need. Im guessing im recording in some wierd format or something but I'd appreciate any input. The PC tells me the file type is microsoft TV recording.
Secondly and lastly i had all sorts of problems getting anything to show up in the guide. I finally got most of them by re running the quickstart wizard but this didnt bring anything up for any BBC channels and ITV1 (im in the UK btw) I tried mapping these channels manually to alternative listings and just cant get anything to show up. Some of the channels which do have listings only have a couple of hours at a time. Has anyone written a howto for correctly setting up guides etc?
