Changing the startup page (2 Viewers)

I have recently installed mediaportal 1 and all is working fine, however I would like the startup page to be the TV guide. I guess I need to edit a xml file but don't know which. Similarly I would like to remove some of the menu items. I am using the Default wide HD skin.
