Hi,

I am having strange problem.

On Channel 9 the tuner is not able to lock the card.

Not sure what's wrong. I am sure its something to do with my configuration.

I have attached the log files.

Also its taking a long time to display other channels.

Please help.

    These two observations suggest that your DVB signal strength and quality are marginal, or inadequate. Where are you lated and what type of TV antenna are you using?

    The next possibility is that Autotune has collected incorrect data (usually the frequency) - can you go into MediaPortal Setup -> Television -> TV Card -> Edit and check the frequencies recorded for each channel. You can find the correct frequencies for your area here.

    OK, I just had a look at your MediaPortal.log file and it looks like channel changes take about 10+ seconds, which is slow ... :(

    There seem to be 2 points of delay:-

    5 seconds is lost here

    Code:
    2007-02-22 20:49:18.850712 [Info.][6]: DVBGraph:StartViewing(). : ac3=True
    2007-02-22 20:49:23.557480 [Info.][6]: DVBGraph:TuneChannel() tune to channel:10

    and another 3 seconds here

    Code:
    2007-02-22 20:49:23.577508 [Info.][6]: DVBGraphBDA:SubmitTuneRequest() frequency:219500 kHz Bandwidth:7 ONID:4116 TSID:1538, SID:1569
    2007-02-22 20:49:26.702001 [Info.][13]: planescene: PresentImage()

    Unfortunately, I don't know why .... :confused:

    There are a few postings here from owners of Dvico cards with slow channel changes, but I don't think any of them have been resolved yet.

    What version of the Dvico BDA drivers are you using? Are they the latest?
