I'm using MP 1.0 (final release) [especially for TV and Videos] ... great great job, thanks to all developpers and testers
However, I've been annoyed for a while with following issue:
when I watch TV, I can use keypad (on keyboard) to select directly a channel (from 1 to 18) ... but, if I press buttons 0-9 on remote control, there is no effect
in the same way, when I watch a film, I can use the keypad to play the video from a given time ... here as well, buttons 0-9 on the remote are totally ineffective.
I use a SerialIR remote (RealMagic from Sygma Designs). All buttons have been assigned to usefull actions (see file remotevalues.xml), including buttons 0-9, assigned to actions REMOTE_0 to REMOTE_9 (well, I don't see any other action they could be assigned to).
=> I've been trying to find the right parameters in order to match keys 0-9 on keyboard with buttons 0-9 on remote control, but it does not work at all !
As written above, it's really annoying; luckily, I can still zap between channels, using TV Guide.
But I would prefer to use my remote with its most genuine facility (direct selection of a channel)
