Channel numbering same as $ky (2 Viewers)

To ease the transition from a $ky box to MP it would be helpfup if all my channels were numbered the same as they are on that box. Is there any easy way to do this? (I have a feeling DJBlu's plugin might do it but I'm using miroslav's one.)

Also, for a client where I'm using the PC keyboard, should I be able to change channels using the numeric keys on the keyboard? At the moment this works only for channels with single-digit numbers.

Hi there,

DJ Blu's code is the only automatic way to do this.

You could simply do an export and import it into Miroslav's version to do the initial load (I run Miroslav's and DJblu's versions)

As for channel numbers... check if you have American/Index numbering enabled - also set the number of digits to use for channel changes (all done under MePo Config/TV Client

Hi J - thanks. I'll give DJBlu's plugin a whirl. (Do you mean you run both at the same time?)

I have "Select channel by index (non-US)" ticked, and Channel number max length is 3 - I can only select 1-digit channel numbers though. Same with another client with a MCE remote too.

Ah, reading the wiki, sounds like that option should be unticked... will try that...

OK that fixed it I can now select channels by their number. Now to fix the numbers...

What's odd though is that only the first digit of the channel number I enter appears on the screen. So if I type "587" I only see the 5. Is that a bug?
