Skin: MCE or TwoBlue
Windows Version: WinXP Home + SP2 + latest patches (DVB,...)
CPU Type: AMD Sempron +2200 - SocketA
Memory: 1 GB - 333
Motherboard Chipset: VIA Apollo KT600 - Gigabyte GA-7VT600
Video Card: Gigabyte Radeon 9550 - 256MB
Video Card Driver: Radeon 6.2 - latest
Video Card Resolution: 1024x768
Video Render Type: VMR9
Video Codec Type & Version:Elecard MPEG2 Video Decoder
Audio Codec Type & Version: MPEG/AC3/DTS/LPCM Audio Decoder
TV Card: Hybrid DVB/SoftANALOG, Hauppauge HVR 1100
TV Card Type: software / DVB
TV Card Driver: Downloaded the CD Version 2.4 from Hauppauge forum site
Synopsis: I use the card in Prague (Czech Republic) where we have three Multiplexes:
A (506 000 KHz) - 6 TV Channels
B (674 000 KHz) - 6 TV Channels
C (818 000 KHz) - 3 TV Channels

Whenewer I change from Multiplex A to B (TV or Radio) the main Czech Tv Channel - CT1 which is in Mult.A changes it's settings and becomes a channel from Mult.B (PRIMA). The name in the EPG stays correct and the OSD shows the right information for the CT1 channel, but what I see on the screen is the PRIMA channel.
In the Configuration menu the before MuxA channel CT1 has changed it's settings into Mult.B channel. When I rescan the tuner I got a 1 new channel report. It's the CT1 channel that once again has the right settings. That works until the next switch to Mult.B.
Hope the explanation it's not too confusing.

I will be grateful to whoever knows what could be the problem cause now MP becomes almost useless for me.
Thanx

0.2 RC3 - same problem

I tried to install the 0.2RC3 but the problem persists. Right now I am using the 0.1.3 version which is surprisingly fast (compared to recent versions) but lacks some features (grab EPG,...) and has some other bugs.
Seems like I am cut off from the MP-train for good. If there's anybody using MP in Czech Rep. please let me know if you are experiencing the some problem.

I once again beg for help. My HTPC was a project I started long ago only because I found MP. The next step was supposed to be buying a satelite card. This way I am stuck in the middle of nowhere.

Thanx in advance

TV network ID: 10

Problem is with network ID:1 (multiplex A) and netowork ID:10 (multiplex B).

When I switch TV from A to B (some channel in network A to channel from B network), "somebody" change network ID: from 10 to 1. Forever for this channel!!

My question:

Support MP network ID: 10? Two bytes? Or some truncate string error?
What proccess can change tunning parameters of watching TV channel?
Thank you for assist.

Try following patch (against svn rev. 8278)
===================================================================
--- mediaportal/Databases/TV/TVDatabase.cs (revision 8278)
+++ mediaportal/Databases/TV/TVDatabase.cs (working copy)
@@ -4354,7 +4354,7 @@
if (dvbt)
{
TVDatabase.GetDVBTTuneRequest(chan.ID, out provider, out freq, out ONID, out TSID, out SID, out audioPid, out videoPid, out teletextPid, out pmtPid, out bandWidth, out audio1, out audio2, out audio3, out ac3Pid, out audioLanguage, out audioLanguage1, out audioLanguage2, out audioLanguage3, out HasEITPresentFollow, out HasEITSchedule, out pcrPid);
- if (serviceid == SID && transportid == TSID) return chan;
+ if (serviceid == SID && transportid == TSID && networkid == ONID) return chan;
}
}
provider = "";

MP was not checking networkid during channel update ... which caused first channel with matching service and transport id to be overwritten.
Another problem (at least on my setup) remains - you won't be able to switch directly between channels with the same service and transport ids but different network id (e.g. CT1 and Prima) ... similar check is probably missing somewhere else :(

has anyone checked the solution haed suggested in the previous post? If yes and if it works, how could this be incorporated in the CVS?

Zkusil někdo jestli úprava z předchozího příspevku od haed funguje? Pokud ano a pokud to funguje, jak tuhle opravu zařadit do CVS?

Thanks/dík,

Libor

0.2RC4 - Still not working

I just tried the 0.2RC4 with the svn-04-27-2006--06-12 with no luck. Unfortunately I am not skilled enough to try Haeds "trick". Anybody else had better luck?

It's me again. I have tried the newest release 0.2.0.0 RC4 with SVN05.06.2006-20:01:06,24 and guess what? Still not working.
Can all users from Czech Rep. confirm that the problem is not solved? If so, can you reply and let me and hopefully the developers team know that there is interest in getting a new functional Mediaportal release for users in Czech Rep?
Otherwise, I might just stop bothering you all, sell my HTPC and buy a settopbox and an mp3 player and forget about it.
Don't get me wrong. I really like Mediaportal and have been using it for 2 years. But RC0.2 is not how I see the final and ultimate HTPC software. It still has space for improvements and bugs to fix.

Thank you all in advance.

    I just applied your patch to current SVN.
    It will be available in the next public snapshot today. Please test thoroughly and report back!
