    Hi,
After upgrading to 1.3, I am seeing that switching channels is taking long.
When I switch, the screen goes black, for around 3-5 seconds, before the new channel appears.
It's IPTV and all codecs are set to use the default LAV.

Is this something I need to just accept? Can I change this, by fiddling with codecs? If so, how?
I have attached a few logs, maybe that helps.

Not sure what is happening, but you have a nice set of correlation in your log files (I note same at 13:29:02, so not a one off) - a blank of 5 seconds in Mediaportal, 8-9 seconds reported in ERB and TSReader.

I suspect it's your timeshift bugger (but suspicion only - hopefully someone with more knowledge will be able to confirm or correct) and not codecs.

Ok - how is your timeshift buffer set up.

Local drive, RAM disk (see below), network drive?

Can you post your TV Server config.

    Cheers - J.

It's just a folder on a local disc.
2 discs actually, in raid 0. Should be pretty fast.
Maybe I should increase the size? I do have plenty of space.
To be honest, I never really touched theese settings.

From above (all nicely standard), and it being on local (raid 0) drives, simple issue time-shift drive now seems unlikey:(

Can you post full logs, not just TV and hopefully someone with more of an idea on TV server than me will take a look and help solve your problem.

    Sorry - JCMP.

Its been said many times before, but I suffered with this all of a sudden some time ago - same thing, started taking ages to shift channels. I was using raid 0 SSD's on a beefy computer too and it turned out related to antivirus. Excluding the timeshift and recording folders from the scanning and excluding the MePo executables solved it.

    Might be worth a stab.

Microsoft security essentials and windows defender are ones to check for as well

I'm not running any anti virus.

I have now tried to completely disable, both defender and windows firewall, on both client and server machine.
    Still no change :(
