Now that MP 1.3.0 Final has pretty good internal player support, I would like to use it as my default BluRay player. I rip my BluRays to ISO. However, if there is a problem with a particular BD Movie, or if I'd like to see the java menu, I'd like to be able to choose a non-default external player option.
Does this functionality exist already? It seems to me that you have to choose either the internal player or the external player, but you can't have a menu option to "Play with External Player." Since these are ISO's, they have to be mounted first and manually going to the folder structure to mount them and then manually opening up PowerDVD ends up being a lot more work than normal. However, I'd really like to make PowerDVD a "last choice" type of thing, since MP is so much better at playing back media.
If there is a way to do this already, I'd appreciate the help. If not, then I suppose we could make this a feature request.
