I have tested various methods the past days, including different codecs and so on. With waveout I can get it to work with many different codecs (Nvidia, Cyberlink, ffdshow etc).When I do &quot;Render media file&quot; in Filtergraph, the default graph always gets &quot;direct sound device&quot;. I can then alter the graph and add the waveout device filter instead, and AC3 passthrough works fine.Im not at all convinced this problem origins from MP.
