    I have one machine with an MP client and TV server in the living and one with an MP client in my office. Both run MP 1.0 RC3 on XP pro SP3.

    When the living room machine goes to standby the MP client in the office doesn't work anymore. It doesn't crash, but it has to be restarted to work again.

    Is this a known issue?

    This is what happened just now;

    I'm listening to music on the MP client in my office, the MP machine with the TV server in the living comes out of standby to record a program, as soon as it goes back to sleep I get the message as shown below on the machine in my office. Pressing OK does not help, the message just comes back, I have to cancel MP and restart it.

    Hi,

    Short answer, yes this is a known issue. I have reported it before.

    The easy way to reproduce it is to have TV turned on in the client, then hit the reset button on the server. At this point, the client hangs without any error message being displayed.
