    Hi,

    HTPC with MP 1.3 Beta
    Workstation :
    1st Log : MP 1.3 Beta SVN (2012 12 24) + EXP_MPC-HC_update (2012 12 24)
    2nd Log : MP 1.3 Beta SVN (2012 12 24) + EXP_MPC-HC_update (2012 12 24) + Log4Net (9 months ago )

When watch DVD movie with Closed Caption set for everload.
CC is displayed correctly - refreshed for next sequence. but the last CC does not disappear from the screen until the next line of text.

this appears all the time with physical DVD
    random with DVD folder.

I upload sample of movie in DVD ( please wait 500 Mo)

    DVD Tested :
IRON MAN 2 (on start movie, when speak in russian )
Seigneur des anneaux (Part 1) :

    I think Team Members concerned:
    @Deda @Sebastiii

Ps1 : For information about DVD structure folder ( Not ISO) !
Setting for show CC in DVD config, doesn't work with DVD folder ! we must select CC in video player.

Ps2 : Can you add "language" + "CC" in videoplayer (context menu + OSD) for make difference between "real" Subtitles and CC

    Hi,

    I have try DVD sample.
CC can't work with LAV Video.
To be able to display CC subtitle, we need line21 decoder in directshow graph.
So i think these both DVD didn't have CC subtitle in it (not sure) but when i try with PDVD codec that handle Line 21 Decoder, i can't see any sub for it.

But i can display subtitle (with LAV Video).

I have try CC on one DVD i have for that lol and CC is displayed.
    Seb :)

I have tested MediaInfo on .vob (sample) compared to the DVD with CC (in CC DVD, we can see sub track EIA-608) this track is not present on your sample, so no CC in it :)

Otherwise when CC is present, it was show on OSD, like CC ANALOG :p
    Seb.

HI, sebastiii, thk for test !
i must test to replace LAV with other ( PDVD),
Seigneur des anneaux is extracted from a real DVD / Iron man : backup
i must try with others DVD ...
Question :if is not CC, why MP load this subtitle by default when CC setting is checked ?

maybe real question should be : why subtitle still displayed when must disappears ?

    Hi,

So if i understand correctly, you want DVD start on forced track when "default disc subtitles" is selected but do nothing when is uncheck right ?

    For sure :
To use cc we need another codec (lav video can't handle CC sub).
About "default disc subtitles" i don't know exactly how it's work, it's surely indicate in wiki, will see later, have work to do first :)
