buildin a MONSTER HTPC whoot

anyone got closed caption to work on the via DVB-S (please don't get confused with Teletext or dvd subtitles)

if so, which software and with what DVB-S card


Thanks to everyone who would take a moment to verify on their systems

even when it doesn t work.. I ll like to know what they have so I don t spend countless hours trying
to get it to work. I ve already spent weeks surfing for info and will, with no questions spend many mores :))

you fixed something that was frustrating me , related to something eles

I had some dvd problems that was like a quick freeze between camera scene.. only on like 4 out of 100 movies
to name a couple.. spiderman 2 and chitty chitty bang bang
this was running from a original dvd (so its not a rip or copy of it)

installed ffdshow for testing and see what it is, added it to the post processing of the DVD part.. it fixed the problem I had at the begining

before I could get on to testing the CC.. I need to get my skystar2 working :( after failing to get the digi 103g to work as well.

I'll post back when I get more info

Ive tried the cc suport on fdshow (its awfull)

tried zodiac's core ccp (its perfect)
