Hi All

I have a problem with 2 of my TV series 720p MKV's, they judder a freeze every second or so when using MP. When I use media player everything works fine, so I know its not the file's. This has only started happening since my windows rebuild and 1.2.1 install. My cpu stays below 30% both in MP and WMP so it looks like the codec's are configured correctly. All my 1080p MKV's play just fine too.

Logs attached!

Seems all was ok, so it's strange.
Can you try with LAVF Splitter and/or SAF6 ?
And select LAV Filter ? and see how it goes, can you past a screenshot about stats (! key) :)
    Thanks.

I'm using LAV splitter already and I'd prefer not to use SAF if at all possible.

Do you mean pc stats (CPU, RAM, etc) or picture/ frame stats? I'm not sure what
    means??

He means you should press Shift+1 while playing a jerky video and then post a screenshot here. (frame stats)

Are you sure F11 works while playing video? Don't you just get a black screen then? I didn't test it tho! =)

clarkey2r - you have groups of 'Scheduling sample from the past' lines in the evr.log - that's usually a sign of something stealing CPU/GPU time occasionally (or data not arriving in time).

It means the video processing has got delayed, so that the decoded frames are too late by the time they reach the renderer - and have to be discarded, causing the stutter.

Good way of getting fanart, pick scene and run video pressing F11 in quick succession usually gets 1 or 2 decent pictures ;)
