Currently not. Codecs are chosen by video format (MPEG2, AVC), not by the source where the frames come from. The preferred LAV codec is a good general purpose codec.are there any plans to have different Codec settings for TV and Video?
You can already use different filters like sharpen, they can be accessed by "info" (2 or multiple times until menu opens) under "effects". Further effects can be added in form of DX-shaders.And will you add Postprocessing Parts like in MP1?

I just checked this page for examples of "Smooth Video": http://www.spirton.com/convert-videos-to-60fps/. After I seen the "InterFrame" converted clip, I really dislike this effect. In my opinion the image is worse, at it looks artifical "layered", foreground and background seems to be decoupled. I had the same bad experience with "The Hobbit", I find it looks terrible.
But anyway, I see other examples why a video post-processing might be good, I'll check it.
