Collection of reasons for the standby issues (1 Viewer)

My idea for this thread is to collect all ideas / explainations for the multiple Standby issues not only cause by MP but maybe by the hardware, the drivers, the OS Type/Level.
Especially the DVB Cards and drivers seem to be the cause for that issues.

Write down your ideas, problems, etc. for differnt kinds to equipments.

Maybe we can find out the perfect hardware/software combination for MP which is "Standby bullet proofed".
This could be one result of this thread.

People do not like saying what they did to fix something which was not working for them, and sharing there knowledge of how to do it.

I'm sorry I can't help... I have never used standby.

But I am certainly willing to share my problems (or gloat about how I came up with a fix) with anyone who will listen
