Hello

I have 3 hard drives on my htpc, each of them have either movies or tv shows or both of them.

At the moment i set 2 folders for each harddrive under media portal configuration like

movies1 = c:\movies
tv1 = c:\tv
movies2 = d:\movies
tv2 = d:\tv
movies3 = y:\movies

This works just fine , the problem is istead of having just TV and Movies folder i got 5 sections and i have to remember what is found on what section.

I know i can merge my drive in raid setup , this is of course not an overkill solution for this scenario :)

I wonder if its possible to setup media portal to have multi folders for each section like :

TV = c:\tv;d:\tv;
Movies = c:\Movies;d:\mvoies;e:\movies;

or some other way to achieve what i want ...
So in media portal i'll have all my files listed under one section.

Thanks from advance

Hagay

    Use the Switch View button to go to one of the database views. This requires you to have the database populated (e.g. scan in configuration). You may view full lists, by actor etc.

    Thanks for you reply , but as far i can see i have to catalog each file this way ? and less comfortable than using the shares.

    I hope there is another way :)

    Hi, I am guessing that there is no other solution for this? I recently added a 750gb drive to my box and would like to have all the movies display in one folder view like they currently do. I tried doing a "Junction" but unfortunately that seems to only work for folders with movies not movie files themselves.

    An help would be appreciated. I just don't like having 2 folder to browse through to find a movie.

    Thanks in advance!:D

    UPDATE: Never mind, after playing with it a little more I have Database: Title view working fairly well.
