Yes, unfortunatly IMDb sees you as a foreign user.

That setting only works correct for USA users of IMDb+ (darn Amazon). I've got some ideas however on improving the detection system though. It's just not going to be easy to do so. Not that I mind, but it's a large investment timewise (complex regular expressions and such), and that has become a rare commodity for me this year. After next months work-conference things are looking up though.

For the time being, use the ugly workaround of the custom rename system.

Yes, that will fix it for you, but not something I would recommend in general for everybody.

It kinda feels like reverse engineering, but I feel confident I will be able to crack the Amazon safe and figure out a way to make it all work again. Since it is almost a full rewrite on the existing code, my plan is to actually expand the functionality if possible. I just hope Amazon stops acting all girly and change their mind constantly

In your new version you could have an advanced option in settings "use usa proxy". This would be disabled by default. but if for any reason things stopped working again user could manually turn this on. If you have the same layout for titan, you can describe what this means and that it should be disabled for most users as it will make importing movies a lot slower. The proxy could be used just for the html not for images.

The code for the proxy part would be part of the scraper updates, so it could be altered when needed.

I do not like to dig that deep into users system, even if it is optional, so I'll figure out a way to make it work with the info Amazon provides. If it comes down to it, I will just always rely on the AKA page for the English title, but have to do mass testing to ensure that is reliable. In the past it has happened where the AKA English title was not the right one.
