Comcast recently changed their channel frequencies so I need to re-autoscan my video tuner card.
Most of the HD channels shifted to a new frequency and the old channels are dead.

I am wondering how often this is going to happen.
I did not receive any notification from COMCAST.

Welcome to my world. They updated our area about 2 months ago and I have yet to rescan and fix the channels. Thankfully, I have a HD-PVR which still has everything linked through it and a couple of the old channels still work. I've read in the new features of 1.1.0 that they have a channel scan that removes encrypted channels now. I don't know how well it works, maybe you can try it out and post your results. I'm too afraid to try it myself as I've got a semi working setup right now. Been thinking about trying out Win7MC as I've heard that scanning channels is way easier. I dunno though. I don't like having only 360's as my extenders.
