I already set it up once... but it didnt work at all. My ini was not fine. Trying to look for solutions i got stuck and thinking about the problems it has with modern advertisement blocks in tv i stopped spending more time on that...

probably progress has been made since you tried it last.

comskip runs automatically at the end of a recording in MP now. that was my stumbling block, which in the end had a simple solution (restart TV service, duh!).

early tests show good results for skipping commercials, that's with a default .ini. i'm going to track down on Oz one shortly.

probably would be good to tell us what's not working specifically...

When I try to record it does not skip the commercals. So what I did was downloaded the compskip files and unrared them in C:\comskip\comskip.exe, under gen set in MP I ticked the skip commercials, and in TV server I checked comskip and browsed for the comskip.exe file, left the second option to 0 and the test section is blank as well. but when I hit record the show records but the commercials do not skip.

PS: let me know if I am not clear on anything so I can explain it better.

well, that all sounds about right.

did you try the test? that was my first move.

also did you leave the '0' as "{0}"?

i chose the option to run at the end of recording too.

and, lastly have you restarted the tv server service?

What do I do with the test, I mean what files do I browse for?
