Hi there. This may be a dumb question
but I have searched the Manual,FAQ and Forums and have not found any guides/hints on how to do this. The manual mentions that it is possible to compress a recording but I am not sure how. I've looked at the post processing setting in the config and I have enabled XVID under the TV sections as this is the format I want to compress to, but nothing seems to happen. Is this only for live playback or is it used for recordings as well. Must I use FFDShow to compress to XVID or is having the codec installed good enough? I don't mind if it is a post recording process which converts the native DVR-MS format to DIVX and then kills the orginal file, I just want something that does it automatically after I have recorded the show. Any hints/guides would be most appreciated. Thanks.
