 Hello,

Can you please help me. I run a dell 8300 3.2 ghz, 2gb ram on xp professional. I have a kworld dvbt 100 digital tuner card.

I once had media portal 0.2 r4 running on my pc, but after re-installing it I am having problems. With all stable versions of media portal, now crashes on searching for tv channels, and after that, when I restart media portal and click on my TV it reboots my computer with a serious error.

Can anyone please shed any light, I have no idea why it does this. I reinstalled my tv card and then tried to install media portal again, but cannot get it to work. Do you have any advice.

Kind Regards

Steve

I Chenks,

Thanks for your reply. My tv card works fine with its own software.

You will have to excuse me on this, but where do I find the log file, and how do I post it? would it be just by copy and paste.

Regards

Steve

You would find your log files under your MediaPortal installation. The default location is C:/Program Files/Team Mediaportal/Mediaportal/logs/
Once you go in there you should see several different log files. Use http://pastebin.team-mediaportal.com to post your logs. Paste the urls of the logs here in this thread. You may also want to fill out the "My System" info in your forum user cp, to give devs a better picture of what kind of a computer you're working with.
