there are no default parameters sent by mediaportal, but it's best to launch comskip with -t which tells it that the file is a transport stream which may contain errors etc. it seems to work okish without the -t though, but it's supposed to be launched with -t.

there is a problem where mediaportal sometimes doesn't read the chapters, it doesn't seem to check if the .txt file with chapters exists when you play a recording, there is some kind of other event that triggers mp to look for the chapter file, as such sometimes MP will play a tv recording without chapters. It would be good if MP checked for the .txt file with chapters when it plays a file.
