comskip not working with MPG files created with AutoDVRConvert (1 Viewer)

Hi I am new to MP I have installed Comskip and AutoDVR Convert and both seen to work fine as in AutoDVR Convert Creates a MPG file that plays in Media Player and registers as a proper MPEG file under that and comskip works on my old MPG recordings from showshifter but will not work on the ones created with AutoDVR Convert for some reason, I read somewhere in the help that comskip only works on files upto 800x600 resolution which my old showshifter ones are but my files recorded with MediaPortal seem visibally to be much bigger i.e when playing back in media player at a 1:1 ratio they almost fill a 1024x768 screen, even so when the qulity is dropped to low just the picture gets poorer, is this anything to do with it and does anyone have a solution, any help is much appreciated as all these teething problems are driving me nutty

What is yur recording called after AutoDVR?
is it *.MPG or *.mpg

As far as I know, comskip can only handle *.mpg written with small types.

Cheers mate i owe you one, i cant believe something as simple as the case of the extention stoped it from working its been driving me crazy for hours, i altered AutoDVR to small case and it worked straight away
