I record daily from TV many cartoons for my children (3 4 episodes per day, 10 15 minutes each).

The storage of these records is a very time-consuming task because for each record I find the first frame of the opening theme and the last frame of the ending theme, so I can cut the portion of the recording that I do not care.

I really want to automate this process, but don't know if comskip can do it (ie detect a specific frame as a trigger)

Someone who uses it can help me?

Moved post to more appropriate area for response, comskip pretty good as in works accurately for 80% of recorded TV for me, does rely on the ini file created to do this though.

Maybe a few people will post modified one's, would be good to get a selection of these tweaked for various Country's, then maybe we can form a repository for users to download based on region.
