Conceptronic remote (1 Viewer)

Hi everybody!

I've bought a remote control from Conceptronic (CLLRCMCE) and I'm trying to make this work with my windows xp but I've just get the basic features like up, down cursor and volume, the specials key like live tv, recorded tv and so on does not work...

Does any one have a idea?

It is recognized as multiple usb device in the following categories HID device, in mouse and keyboard all as default HID device.

Hi rtv, Thanks for your reply.

Yes, I did, this and a lot of things more... 've tried the IR server, MCE remote replacement, mce original drivers and others programs, but the best that I got was that about 10 buttons worked, the basics up, down, fwr, rew, but nothing more... (it has about 50... ).

Some of then worked with the windows media player, but when I start the mediaportal and play some video (using the mouse) the play, stop and other things doesn't work...

I've being playing with this remote about 2 weeks and It is verrrrry incompatible with the XP (I'm not sure with the mce 2005 and vista).
The solution?

I´ve changed in the store by the MCE remote, and it just worked like a charm!

Exactly same problem with the conceptronic remote. I also had to purchase for the MCE microsoft remote

i have one question, i know that conceptronic remote control still don't work at mediaportal, but... do you know if anyone will make a driver to use it correctly?

any fix for this remote yet?

here in spain i cant find any other remote for under 70 euros, which for a remote i think its waaaay to much.

conceptronic is 24euros.

Also hoping there will be a fix out..

I hate Vista so im sticking to XP, but there are no more MS remotes available here, compatible with XP.

I have the conceptronic now, but found out, it doesnt work with MP..

Please guys, make it work.. pleaase!

I have a CLLRCMCE with MP1.0.2 and had the same problem. Only some buttons function.
Now i am using Intelliremote and have mapped all the button i need. Works great!
