Conceptronic remote (1 Viewer)

I have the conceptronic remote - actually I've bought it under the name of König, but It's the same.

My solution is as follows :

1. Install EventGhost
2. Install message plugin in MP - remember to disable ALL remotes in MP
3. Configure EventGhost with the plugins to the remote and MP

I have made a configuration file, if anyone is interested. Unfortunately I don't have access to it until later today as I am at work ;-)

Hi there!

Anyone with this remote might like to know that a way to get it working seemlessly with MP is, as visioflex has said, is to use eventghost. but furthermore the developer of eventghost has written a driver for the Conceptronic remote that you can download here:
http://www.eventghost.org/downloads/USB-Remote-Driver.exe
Using this, events from the remote are passed directly to eventghost, it no longer behaves as a HID so no extraneous commands get passed to the OS.

So to reiterate
- Install Eventghost
- Install the driver
- Install message plugin (MP)
- Create a configuration in eventghost with conceptronic plugin and mediaportal plugin and map the remote key events to media portal actions.

I did all this but nothing is working properly. Can you explain in detail what you did in eventhost and MP?

Yes
I'm using the latest version of eventghost and the usb driver of the remote control.
I can assign every button. However, I want to use one of the buttons to open the 'moving pictures' menu instead of 'my video' menu. Does somebody know how?
