Conection to tv server lost (1 Viewer)

It seems that problem occurs only when resuming from hibernation. It's not clear if problem is network related or it is something else. If you manually start TV Service, MP works or not?

Hi, Sorry to be such a pain to you.
I have started Mediaportal several times manually since your fix and not seen the problem. After I posted the report i clicked tv server config, which asked if I wanted t0o restart the service as it was not running, clicked yes and after a wait it started. I was able to watch TV.

Can confirm that I have tried twice to restart manually after hibernate and have not had the problem. Just the first of the day.

Try to change
in Gentle.config file with
Restart TV Service and try to hibernate and resume (it seems that problem is only when resuming, not when starting).

Thanks again, have made changes as suggested. As i am making recordings at the moment cannot hibernate. Will let you know when I have completed.
I think the big test will come in the morning after a long hibernate as yesterday after your fixes I had no problems.

Update have hibernated following change to gentle config restart was 45mins after hibernate tv server starts recording.
Will update again when it has had a long rest.

has resumed from hibernate successfully every time. Seems that your latest fix did the trick georgius. Many thanks once more.

Alas I spoke too soon checked a few mins ago and same error. Logs attached.
When i try to restart the TVserver I get no free card available. All cards show as recognised in control panel.
Shut down and restart Mediaportal and the card is available tv sever starts, can watch tv.
Has anyone any more suggestions.

Did a manual restart, all seemed well at first but after a very short time couldnt move mouse out of Mediaportal window. Had to press reset on the box as nothing else would work dont know it its the same problem but logs attached.

I don't see any try to restart of TV Server in logs, but it's not relevant. I see the error, but I think that this error is not fixable. I don't have any other advice as reinstall TV Server part with different database (instead MySQL use MS SQL). You can export and import settings from TV server to speed up the whole process.
