Hello,

I'm having some trouble with my tv tuner card. I'm pretty certain its supported because it has a conexant chip but for some reason Media Portal doesn't recognize that there is a TV tuner card present.

If anyone knows anything that could help solve this problem or even knows if this card is compatible please let me know.

Cheers, Dangles

I had a read through i couldn't find my card so i went onto the page you linked.

Just one question, what are BDA drivers?

BDA = Broadcast Driver Architecture

It's a standard driver for using Video/Audio/data on the latest MS operating systems (XP and above).

Looking at your card/chipset, there doesn't seem to be any BDA drivers for it and it looks like an old software encoding card (the latest WDM drivers seem to be dated 2002). So you're probably out of luck with the link above.

Have a read of these instead...

or better still, buy a supported analogue hardware encoding card, or DVB-T card.
