Yes, it is very simmilar, only I cannot ignore and carry on, XP wants to send a report to MS.

And yes I see the exact same symptom with the DB not being created.

And, finally, yes, it is a Danish version.

Can't you just drag the 'report to MS'-window away, finish the guide and then choose if you wish to report or not? If I remember corectly, that is what I did.

And, finally, yes, it is a Danish version.

I wonder what MP has against us Scandinavians... ;)

Yes, I can do that, and it will finish the guide, but no channel data is stored.

I can start the application, the weather is working, but no channels are available and no epg is there (prob. because there are no channels, the xml file is ok).

From within the app. I can go to the builtin config, it will also find the DVB-T channels without any problems, but as soon as it tries to store them, the app chrashes and I get the post a message to MS again.

Same here, but at least it allows the wizard to finish.

Since I don't have a DVB card, I can't comment on that. Using analogue, however, once the wizard is completed I just start configuration.exe and database creation is working...

I think the DVB part is just where it starts, it would probably be the same if only had the analouge part.

Using analogue, however, once the wizard is completed I just start configuration.exe and database creation is working...

Hmmm. I will try that tonight, sounds promising.

Strange is it though, that I had it all running with RC3 together with a copy of GB-PVR. Because a lot of experimenting had cluttered the PC, I decided to do a fresh install, Windows, SP and everything, and after that I can't get any of MP or GB-PVR to work.

You were absolutely right, it is working now. All I had to do was to start the config, and the database is created.

All I miss now is a clear understanding of the relationship between epg, channelsetup on the tv-card and what I see in the tv-guide in the program.

Also, my epg data seems to be an hour off, probably not a big problem.

Anyway thanks a million for the help, without it, I would have abandoned the program.

Same problem for me but

I cant scan media or save channel scan. sqlite db support crashes and can't write/create new database.

This hapends on freshly installed XP home SP2.

Tried to reinstal but I get the same fault again.
