Configuration: Exception thrown, won't start (1 Viewer)

I haven't used OV for a few weeks, but when I went in to play some old downloads this morning nothing was visible in the GUI and all the channels seemed to have vanished. So I went into MP Config and selected OnlineVideos...and this is what I got.

When I start up MP, I get something similar in the log, and lots of errors in the Online Videos Log (attached). I haven't installed anything new that I can recall.

MP Version - 1.5.0
Online Videos = 1.7[DOUBLEPOST=1387715611][/DOUBLEPOST]Hmm, there is clearly something more widespread going on. I just tried to install MP-TV Series and got this error.

check what .Net Framework you have installed. It's not enuogh to have the "Client Profile" and MP 1.5 need .net 3.5

I thought I did have .Net 3.5 installed, any idea how I check? I know for sure I have 4.5.1 as it shows up in Control Panel->Programs.

I just tried the dotnetfx35.exe from MS and that made no difference

Using http://support.microsoft.com/kb/318785 to guide me. The registry implies that I have v3.0/SP2, v3.5/SP1 and V4/versionnumber = 4.5.50938 which would seem to show that I have all the version installed that I ought to have

I still don't know why/how this happened. I rolled back to an earlier pre-MP backup of my W7 install, and reinstalled MP 1.5 and plugins and it is now all working. I've also reinstalled all recent W7 updates (including .NET 4.5.1) and things seem to be fine with both OV and MP-TVSeries. It's a mystery as to what happened. Maybe the was a corruption in one of the .NET 3.5 libraries.
