Hi
I have a problem with launching the configuration of moving pictures from within Mp configuration plugins.
Im on mediaportal 1.2.o alpha and moving pictures 1.1.2.

The launcher starts and goes all the way through the bar and i can see the done! just before the launcher closes but nothing happens.

Any ideas?

I have a problem with launching the configuration of moving pictures from within Mp configuration plugins.

What do the log files say?

Also have you tried the PluginConfigLoader.exe tool to launch the MovPic configuration direct?

If you can not find the tool in your MediaPortal program folder, then grab it from the following thread: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...gloader-exe-fixed-crash-64-bit-windows-75589/

There are batch files included in the zip file that will launch MovingPictures and MP-TVSeries plugin configuration screens.

And be aware that if you have a large collection, there could be a long delay between the MovPic splash screen dissapearing and the actual config window to open. This is fixed in the source code already, but not released yet.

I see a few nasty errors in your log file, NullReferences and OutOfMemory. It seems to relate to a dynamic node, possibly custom, but I can't say for sure (Swedish error translations aren't helping).

What I would suggest is to backup the movingpictures.db3 database file to another location and delete the file. Then redo the MovPic config and see if problem goes away. At least then you have confirmed the problem is with that older database. Possibly it got corrupt or it is barfing over some setting. Do you perhaps remember a loss of power or lockup recently that could have caused it?

It might be possible to fix the corruption, but then one of the developers would have to be kind enough to study your database file and lend a helping hand.

But first I would exclude it has any other cause by recreating a new database (after securing a backup of the current one).

yes i have not the most stable system and i have experienced a bsod but im not sure if that triggered the problem iv had it quite a while.

I have a set up on one more computer maby i can use files from there.

I can not find the .db3 file even on the computer that's working. Where is it supposed to be?

iv found the files and when removing the file it worked, and i was able to replace it with the file from my other computer.

Thanx for helping me, sadly i dont know what causes the problem but i will let you know if it happens again.
