The same thing with RC2. New log is attached.
Additionally I provide an error generated by .NET Runtime 2.0 Error Reporting with Event ID 5000:

EventType clr20r3, P1 configuration.exe, P2 1.0.6.27710, P3 4bc47e6c, P4 configuration, P5 1.0.6.27710, P6 4bc47e6c, P7 4cf, P8 0, P9 system.nullreferenceexception, P10 NIL.
