so it's not a true TV card... probably not BDA compliant...

I use something similiar... a box that's link my network... Pinnacle PCTV2GO... it's also not BDA... I have to use a MP plug-in to make it work. I use the multishortcut plug to run the Pinnacle system TV player software. There are some pro/cons to this solution... but I did get it to work.

It's just like a TV card but an external box with an USB connection rather than an internal card on a PCI bus but I'll try the add-on you suggested. I'm about ready to give up on Media Portal and use something else. It's too complicated. Any suggestions. I couldn't get it to work with Media Center Edition on Windows XP, Service Pack 3. I tried to download Rollup 2 but couldn't. Dell said Rollup 2 is in SP 3. All I want is TV on my computer with a Remote so I can watch TV in the bathtup. And no I won't electroucute myself as I use to be an EE. I don't no why they wouldn't support my Angel Tuner as it came from Dell with MCE so thousands should have been shipped.

As I understand... MP works with BDA compliant TV tuners... maybe then you need to see if your Angel device is BDA compliant before you spend more time on this problem. Also, this is MP support forum... I don't think that people here are going to supply you answers on how to conifgure your system on a different platform.
