Configuring HIP (1 Viewer)

hi,

Im using the remote that came with my DNTV LIve Pro tuner, and i'm trying to configure HIP.

however, the keyboard shortcuts seem to vary too much with every function.

ie.

Live tv and Music use the same keys with a different meaning etc.

Is there a guide or something that can help me set it up? Everythin else is workin fine so far it seems

Keep in mind you can always change the keyboard shortcuts in MP Configuration.

What sort of conflicts are you having? I'm using HIP with my Dvico MCE remote and everything is ok - the only conflict I can remember is that the 'y' key is used in the full-screen TV screen to show the OSD, while in the My Music module it is used to add and remove from the playlist. I sorta of remember this, so it isn't so much a problem, but you can always remap the keys in MP if you need to.

hey, i cant work out how to change the mappings in the mp settings?

I can see them, but i can't modify them

You can. There are two screens under the General section - Keyboard shortcuts, and a Keys & Sounds screen.

Look in the Keys & Sounds one, not the keyboard shortcuts one.

Just select an action that you want to change the associated key for, then change it in the box below.
