    Hey y'all,

Is it possible to put together some links / info for people wanting to configure today's MP to stream library and live tv content from outside of a LAN (via a browser)

I have found and configured MP extended which works great within my LAN, but is there a recommended / best practice way of getting (secure) access from outside for people without static IP addresses.

Does DynDNS (or similar) seem the best way to go?

Also, both inside and outside of the LAN, what are people using to watch content on:

On an IOS device - is there an app?? (although MP extended works to an extent)
On an Android device - its AMPDroid right?
On a Windows mobile (v8) - is there one?

And when outside of the LAN, how does this work alongside DNS technology?

    Any thoughts?

I use dyndns for external use together with Eve on an iPad. Most routers can update your dyndns when ip changes. My ADSL upload speed is the limiting factor but it's still possible to use decent streaming profiles. You should be able to use WebMP on any of those devices. aMPDroid is the one to use for Android. Not sure about WM, think it's once client existing. Eve is not released yet but will come for iPad.
