Hi. I'm just starting to use MP so this is probably more of a configuration type issue... I'm having two issues with the DVD playing functions...
Anyway, I have a few dvd's that I have ripped into .iso files using Alcohol120%. In MP, there is a button that says "Play DVD". I ran the Setup program and pointed MP at my movies folder that contains the iso files. When I first ran MP, it showed me a list of all the movies. I clicked on one and it started to play. I exited out of MP and now when I restart and I click on "play dvd", it asks me if I want to resume the last dvd from where I left off. I click "no", and it restarts the dvd from the beginning. I can't seem to get back to the list of iso files, i.e., I can't get it to play a different DVD. If I hit "escape", I get taken back to the main menu section of MP. If I click "play dvd", it replays the same DVD again. I'm stuck in a loop and I can't get out. I'm probably just using MP incorrectly. What am I doing wrong?
The other issue I'm having is, when the dvd plays the picture is quite small at full screen. If I right click and choose to change the aspect ratio, anything other than "original" causes the screen to go blank (I still have audio). So choosing 4:3, or stretch, or even "normal", causes the screen to go blank. I re-ran the Setup program and tried changing the default resolution to 16:9, but the dvd playback is still quite small. Out of MP, I have my nvidea drivers installed correctly and other windows functions are at the correct resolution. The main MP menu screen is at the correct resolution. It's only in dvd playback that the full screen isn't really full screen.
Any help anyone could provide will be appreciated. Thanks!
