Confused over Multiple HDTV Tuner Support (1 Viewer)

I have done a lot of reading of various threads regarding multiple Tuners. not many of the threads specify HD or SD.

Effectively I want to find a definative solution to running multiple DVB-T tuners in one system. I have added the two files (Apparently) required from MCE Rollup2 to my MediaPortal PC. But it has caused a few little glitches I haven't ironed out yet.

Does anyone have multiple HD tuner cards running and if so how did they do it?

I have 2 x AverMedia DVB-T tuners in my system.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, I have 2 DVB-T tuners working fine, receiving both SD and HD channels. All I did was install the multi-DVB patch. I also found that the best video decoder for HD is the CybeLink decoder from PowerDVD 6 - it handles everything from 576i to 1080i (576p, 720p, 1080i).

    What country are you in?

You will need to give us some more information about your setup and the issues you are experiencing....

Can you view both SD and HD successfully with just one DVB-T card installed?

What does this mean "But it has caused a few little glitches I haven't ironed out yet." - what are the "glitches"?

What version of drivers are you using with your DVB-T cards?

Fill out the Support Template and describe your problem in more detail, and I am sure we can get you going.... :)

yep, dual digital cards working fine here too. Taipan and I are both Melbournians.

I only use SD, never saw much benifit in the HD that Australia uses (even when the rare hd content is played).
